a 16-week, guided, small-Group Website Build
Build a site you can’t wait to share – with a guide at your side.
Website Wayfinder takes your site from proof you exist to proof you're worth choosing.
Your url has become your dirty little secret.
Get your site sorted
😮💨
Get your site sorted 😮💨
And you've been carrying it around a lot longer than you'd like to admit.
Someone asks for your website and your chest tightens. You share the link with a quick disclaimer – "it's being updated!" – or skip it entirely and keep the conversation in DMs.
Because you've been building around your site instead of with it.
The about page still sounds like past-you.
Your podcast is a bitty little blip on the contact page.
You email a list of ways to work with you because the services page is soooo outdated.
And every time you sit down to deal with it, the whole weekend disappears. Six tabs deep, nothing to show for it.
You're stuck in a loop where every try costs a weekend & leaves it half-done.
Get yourself a guide
Website Wayfinder is the path to the other side
A done-with-you group program where you write, build, and launch a site that actually reflects who you are now.
You're not handing your site off to a designer or doing it totally on your own.
You’re building it yourself (because no one gets your business like you). BUT! You're doing it with someone who knows which decisions to make, in which order, and why, and a small crew of other business owners just like you.
By the time we wrap, you'll have a gorgeous, strategic Squarespace site you’re actually eager to share – plus the know-how to update it when something changes.
Your site, done right – together.
16 Weeks | Fall ‘26 Cohort: Sept 1–Dec 15
1. Strategy Foundations
We figure out who you're talking to, what your site needs to do, and how it should flow – before we touch anything visual.
2. Content + Design
Copy, images, and pages built during live coworking time. The work happens in the session, not in a pile of homework you'll keep meaning to get to.
3. Launch Essentials
SEO settings, legal docs, redirects, integrations, analytics. The stuff that needs to happen before you hit publish (and that nobody warns you about).
What's included:
Custom Squarespace Templates
Choose from the trail-tested templates I’ve built for service providers and coaches — the same ones I’ve refined across dozens of client sites for clarity, user journey, and conversion.
Brand Roots Blueprint
Your built-in brand strategy foundation.
We’ll dig into messaging, visuals, and positioning before you ever touch a design block, so your site looks good and makes sense.
Live Weekly Build Calls
Each of our 14 (optional) live sessions are designed to minimize homework.
We’ll blend training, co-working, and feedback on our calls so you actually get shit done. Plus, two catch-up weeks are built in mid-program, because… life.
24/7 Private Slack Community
A place to ask questions, celebrate your wins, and find community feedback & support.
And in case you need more time, Slack stays open for six weeks after for post-launch support and accountability.

Katrina’s immediate wins
You're about to loooove your site (for the first time in a while)
What happens when strategy comes first.
The websites built in this program aren't built on vibes and YouTube.
We build from strategy – user journey, keywords, positioning, copy, design – done in order, with someone who can explain the why behind each decision.
That's the piece most DIY-ers are missing. Knowing how to use Squarespace is actually not the hardest part. The strategy layer – what to build, in what order, and why – is what the tutorials skip.

“Website Wayfinder gave me the space to really learn WHY and HOW things like nailing a brand identity site wide, landing on strategic SEO keywords, and creating less friction for my clients (and potential ones!) can make all the difference.
Carolyn is kind, hilarious, patient, and a genius. I can't recommend working with her enough.”

Meet your guide
Hey hey! It’s me, Carolyn, your Website Redesign Expert.
I'm a Squarespace Gold Tier Circle Member who has rebuilt dozens of sites for service providers, coaches, and consultants. Before web design, I ran a brick-and-mortar cheese shop and wine bar – which, oddly, is where I learned everything I know about what a good client experience actually feels like. (And what it costs a business when it isn't working.)
I don’t come from a tech background. I come from the frustrated-business-owner side of the desk, which means I know what it's like to have a site that's lagging light years behind your actual business. My whole approach is built around teaching the why, not just the steps – because I'm not trying to become your web person for life. I'm trying to make that unnecessary.
When I'm not building sites, you can find me playing Himalayan sound bowls for a quick meditation shortcut, or floating down the Rivanna River with my husband and two kids.
This isn't for everyone.
(But it might be exactly for you.)
for you:
You've been in business for a few years and you’ve outgrown your website
You want to build and understand your own site – with someone in your corner who knows what they're doing
You've tried YouTube tutorials and ended up more confused than when you started
You can show up to weekly calls September through December
You're on Squarespace or ready to make the switch
maybe not:
You want someone else to just handle it (my Northstar Site Build might be a better fit)
You want a purely self-paced course (the live structure is the point)
You're still figuring out your offers or audience
September – December is a rough season for your schedule (join the January cohort!)
FAQ
-
Ooo. My favorite question!
DIY = you're alone with tutorials and blog posts, guessing if you're doing it right, and probably abandoning it by week 3. Missing brand foundations, effective copy, and must-haves like accessibility and legal basics.
Could you do it this way? Sure! But you'd also be missing the strategy behind every decision; expert eyes on your design, copy, and SEO; and the group support + accountability that actually gets it done.
Done-with-you = you're building your site with a guide for every decision. Every week I teach the strategy AND show you the how-to. Then we have an hour of off-screen implementation time so you can apply what you’ve just learned, and we all come back for real-time feedback on your actual site – not some hypothetical example.
Throughout the program, I can pop in and look at the backend of your site at any time you need my help with minor tweaks and challenges. Plus, if you get stuck, Slack is open like a 24/7 diner, serving up hot & tasty help from me and your compatriots.
You're doing the work (it's YOUR site, after all), but you're never guessing.
-
Both! Some people are gonna start fresh with their very first site. Others have a site that's become Frankenstein’s monster of quick fixes & add-ons.
Most people joining will probably have a site that's become... a lot. Too many band-aid fixes. Too much duct tape. Sites that need to be scrapped and rebuilt on a more solid foundation.
So: everyone starts by picking one of my conversion-focused internal Squarespace templates – ones built with website strategy baked in.
If you already have a site, I’ll be going over URL mapping and domain swaps in our last module. Your site isn’t down while you’re building, and it’s a painless swap when you launch.
Not sure if you're ready for a full rebuild? Schedule a Vibe Check call – happy to chat about what makes sense for you.
-
That's exactly what the first few weeks are for!
We start with strategy and brand foundations BEFORE touching design. You'll work through your brand bio, visual direction, and site goals before you need a single photo or headline.
And our guest copywriting expert Erin Ollila joins for three weeks specifically to help you write your site copy. You don't need to show up with polished words – we build them together.
That said – if you want a head start, grab Trail Mix. It's designed to set the foundations for everything we're doing, so you can move faster once we begin.
You can get it for free if you join Website Wayfinder before August 14th!

The optional live calls are 2 hours each week (15 min training, 75 min co-working, 25 min feedback). If you’ve watched the short prep videos, you’ll show up and actually build during those calls.
Outside of calls, plan for 1ish hours of work on your own, depending on the week and how prepped you are for a website build (ahem ahem Trail Mix).
Some weeks will be lighter (like SEO settings), some heavier (like blog & portfolios). But the bulk of the work happens together.
-
Good question! And yes. Squarespace is genuinely beginner-friendly – especially with a guide.
If you’ve tried Squarespace on your own before, you may have hit a few snags.
In Website Wayfinder, we go step by step – with me showing you exactly what to click and why. Plus, you've got Slack access to ask questions anytime. "Hey, where do I find this setting?" is a completely valid question. No judgment, ever.
If tech takes you a bit longer, you may need to devote more time outside of our sessions (like, 2 hours instead of 1).
By the end, you won't just know how to use Squarespace – you'll understand WHY your site is set up the way it is. That's the difference between feeling lost and feeling confident.
-
Not much. The only paid platform you’ll need is a Squarespace Business site (and working with me gets you 20% off your first year!)
Otherwise, we’ll use the free version of Notion, Slack, and Zoom.
You don’t need to be an expert at any of them. I’ll give you all the info you need.
-
Website Wayfinder is built on Squarespace, and all training, templates, and live feedback are Squarespace-specific.
For most service providers, consultants, and coaches, Squarespace hits the right balance: real design control without needing a developer every time you want to update a page. It's not the flashiest platform – it's the one you'll actually maintain.
If you're on WordPress, Showit, or another platform and want to stay there, this isn't the right fit. The technical instruction doesn't translate across platforms.
If you're currently on something else and open to migrating: yes, we cover domain transfers and URL redirects in the program. Your current site stays live while you build, and the swap is covered.
If you want to know more abut figuring out if Squarespace is the right fit, have I got a blog post for you.
-
Listen, I get it. Life happens.
You can fall behind. But I won't lose you.
Your dashboard comes complete with prep training, plus all teaching and feedback portions are recorded and sent out after each call. If you miss a week, you can catch up on your own time. You're not permanently stuck behind if you need to miss one.
With only 15 people, I know who's showing up and who's gone quiet. If you disappear for a bit, I'll check in. And when you're ready to come back, I’ll help you pick up right where you left off and catch up (even if you need the extra 6 Slack weeks to get ‘er done).
That said: the structure is the point.
The people who carve out the time and show up live get the best results. After all – if you had 40 hours to spend on your site at once, wouldn't it be done by now?
I've been doing this for 6+ years and for dozens upon dozens of clients. Caving out dedicated time for 2ish hours a week is the #1 way you will finally have a professional site – and actually get it done.
-
Oh, I hear this ALL the time. Here's why Wayfinder is different:
→ Small group (15 people max) – you're not lost in a sea of 200 people. You get a TON of my dedicated attention.
→ Accountability, accountability, accountability – When you have dedicated time on your calendar with a pro, you how up and do the work. Training, work, feedback, all in one session – we build together.
→ 24/7 Slack access – your questions get answered pretty quickly. Plus, Slack stays open for an extra 6 weeks.
→ 14 weeks of breathing room – plus two extra weeks in there to catch up. This isn't a frantic sprint. We’re moving intentionally slowly to make considered decisions. -
Heard, and fair. Most site investments fail not because the designer did bad work but because nobody did the strategy work first – so the site looked better but didn't function differently.
Website Wayfinder is strategy-first. Before you touch a template, you've mapped your user journey, clarified your brand direction, and identified what your site actually needs to do. The build follows the strategy. That's not how most site projects work, and it's the difference.
-
A complete, live Squarespace website with on-brand homepage, about, services, contact, and a bunch of other pages based on business needs. Built on a conversion-focused template, optimized for search and mobile viewing, accessible, with legal pages and analytics set up.
And the ability to update it yourself. You'll understand how your site works – not just the how, but the why – so updates down the road are less scary.
-
Wait til I tell you it’s actually 16, when you account for the two weeks for catch-up. Ha!
Kidding, kidding, Look it’s because I've seen what happens when people try to rush a website build: they cut corners, skip strategy, and end up with a site they're redoing in a year.
My timeline gives you space to think, run your business, AND build something strategic. We're covering brand foundations, copywriting, design, SEO, and launch prep. That's a lot – and it deserves breathing room.
By the end, you'll have a complete, live site. Not a half-finished draft you keep meaning to finish.
-
Yup, you probably could.
The problem isn't capability – it's that every time you try, the whole weekend disappears and the site is still half-finished. Website Wayfinder is for people who want to do this themselves, with a guide, a structure, and a group who actually shows up and works on it with you.
-
Yep! You can split it into 4 monthly payments.
If you pay in full, you get a bonus VIP Implementation Day with me – which you can use anytime to have me do stuff for you.
-
If you write me to cancel in between purchasing and receiving your program materials, sure. After that, I can’t offer refunds.
But if you're unsure whether this is right for you, book a free 20-min chat before you commit – I'd rather you be certain than regret it.
-
Your Slack access stays open for 6 weeks after we wrap, and we even have a final session on the books that day to show off your site.
And because you'll understand the WHY behind your site (not just the how), you'll be equipped to make updates yourself as your business evolves. That's the whole point.
-
Email me and ask away!
Still unsure? I get it. Book a fit-check call, and see we’ll what’s what.
Perfect for Getting Unstuck
“Website Wayfinder is perfect for getting unstuck, and Carolyn's knowledge is deep and wide.
Working with her means having access to a coach that really knows her stuff and who will help you execute along the way.
If you've got the time to invest in learning and want to work through it with an expert in live time, it's the perfect step.”
The right clients are looking for you right now.
Show them you're the obvious choice.
By the time we wrap, you'll have a professional-level website you actually want people to see – built by you, understood by you, maintained by you.
One you're damn proud of.
And the know-how to keep it that way.
